Third-Party Tokens: To upload content to YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok on your behalf, we store secure access tokens (OAuth tokens). We do not store your passwords for these platforms.

2. How We Use Your Information

Generate Content (AI): We use OpenAI APIs to process your text prompts and generate video/script content. Your input data is sent to OpenAI for this purpose.
Upload Content: To publish videos to your connected social media accounts (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) upon your request.
Communicate with you regarding updates, security alerts, and support.

3. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We share information with third parties specifically to provide the functionality of our Service. We do not sell your personal data.

A. Authentication (Clerk)

B. Artificial Intelligence (OpenAI)

To generate creative content, user prompts are processed by OpenAI. We ensure that data is transmitted securely. Please refer to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

C. YouTube API Services (Google)

Our Service uses YouTube API Services to allow you to upload videos directly to your YouTube channel. By using our Service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

Google User Data Access: We access your YouTube channel information (channel ID) and upload video files on your behalf. We do not use this data for any other purpose, nor do we share it with external third parties except as required by law.

Revoking Access: You can revoke Clip Nest's access to your YouTube data at any time via the Google Security Settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

D. Instagram Platform (Meta)

We use the Instagram Basic Display API/Graph API to publish videos to your account. We adhere to the Meta Privacy Policy. We store access tokens solely for the purpose of uploading content authorized by you.

E. TikTok for Developers

We integrate with TikTok APIs to enable video uploads. Your use of this integration is subject to TikTok’s Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and access tokens only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

Access Tokens: Retained until you disconnect your social media account or delete your Clip Nest account.
User Content: Retained as long as your account is active to allow you to access your history.
Usage Logs: Retained for a limited period for security and analytics purposes.
